Frequently Asked Questions

A tenant is your Business Central instance – identified by a GUID in the URL for BC Cloud (e.g. businesscentral.dynamics.com/abc-1234-…) or your server URL for On-Premise. One license covers your entire tenant – meaning all employees and all companies within that BC instance, including multiple legal entities.
No. As long as PROD, TEST and DEV all run under the same tenant (same GUID in the URL), one license covers all of them. In BC Navigator Pro you can configure multiple environments and switch between them directly from the command palette using !ENV – e.g. !TEST SO 1234.
The tier is based on total company headcount – not active BC users, named seats, or concurrent users. S = up to 25 · M = up to 100 · L = up to 250 · XL = 250+.
Yes. Just enter your BC base URL – whether it's businesscentral.dynamics.com (Cloud) or your own On-Premise URL. The extension constructs the correct deep links.
Configuration (URL, prefixes) and history are stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage). Anonymous telemetry data is recorded to improve the application
